Roll slitting machine for woven fabric

The fabric roll slitting machine slitTex 750 is designed to produce strips of coated PP woven fabric wound on rolls for use on AD ConverTex machines for top/bottom patches and valves.

Description:

Coated PP woven fabric is unwound from a cloth trolley with lateral adjustment, cut in strips by means of a set of industrial blades (cold knife cut) with lateral adjustment. Then layers are separated, passed over guide- and tension-measuring rolls and wound up on two separate surface winding units arranged in line, with individual tension controls. Edge trim is removed by suction (venturi-type) and blown into a waste cage for recycling. Fabric rolls are handled by a motorized chain hoist at unrolling and winding. One of the two winding units can be switched off, if necessary. Winding tension can be set individually. All functions can be set and monitored on a 4x20 character display, located on a switchboard at the delivery unit.

The machine consists of 5 main sections:
  1. Unwinding section with edge guide control
  2. Delivery and cutting section (including electrical controls)
  3. Edge trim suction and collection
  4. Double winding section
  5. Electric chain hoist for roll-handling
